Take Profit
Close part or all of a position at a target.
The Take Profit node closes a position — or a portion of it — when price reaches your target.
Size is a percentage
Take Profit works in percentages of the open position, not absolute amounts.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
percentage | How much of the position to close (1–100) |
reduceOnly | Always on — this node can never increase exposure |
Scaling out
Connect several Take Profit nodes to split the exit across targets.
Trade → TP #1 50% at +2%
→ TP #2 30% at +4%
→ TP #3 20% at +6%The editor sums the percentages of sibling Take Profit nodes and warns you when the total exceeds 100%. A scenario that tries to close 130% of a position is a plan you did not mean to write.
Exchanges differ in how take-profit orders are registered and amended. Check the page for your exchange before assuming the behaviour carries over.
